Welcome to the Glendale Heights Barangay Lions Club Website!
 In 1984, a group of crusading Filipino professionals met to discuss the
founding of a community organization that would heed the service calls of the Glendale Heights community by volunteering their time,
sharing their talents and resources for the less fortunate, the deaf and the blind, the youth and the aging
members of the community.
Sparked by the zestful and gracious Filipino spirit of Bayanihan (community spirit), the Barangay Lions Club of Glendale Heights was officially chartered on February 16, 1984. True to the vision and spirit of the Filipino founders and the humanitarian goals of the Lions Clubs International, the Barangay Lions, Lioness and Leo Clubs of Glendale Heights remain a shining beacon of caring and service in the community for the less fortunate, the deaf, the blind, the youth and the aged.
